Again a slow year for correspondence. I hope that I have been able to respond to all letters in a reasonable time and with correct information. I would like to thank the members of Management, the State Secretaries and the Convenors who assisted me with appropriate responses.
The very pleasing correspondence sent and received was for the arrangement and appointment of a Patron for Target Rifle Australia. We welcome Major General Jim. Barry to this position.
The equipment that is held by me is in good working order and I believe requires no maintenance or servicing at this time.
I continue to find the lack of membership information supplied to me by some states very frustrating. Not to be able to refer to records, to look up an address or even a telephone number so that questions or a simple request attended to in a reasonable time can be answered is so unprofessionaL I thank the two states who continue to supply membership details to me. I have been requested by one state for a further supply of Target Rifle Australia "New Member's Registration" forms. I have no further stocks on hand and request that Council consider a re print of these forms.
I and Harold Coleman have in stock, a large quantity of recruitment posters. If any State or club would like some of these posters please advise me and they will be sent immediately.
If re elected for the coming year I look forward to again assisting all members.
